Exciting things are happening here at Strong Tower.
First of all,
Jeff H. our missions pastor, having been trained by Propempo International six months ago, is doing an awesome job! The Lord has definitely made him for his job!
Secondly,
Our church’s vision for missions and missions progress is about to explode. We challenged our church to spend one week of 2015 in a cross cultural missions context. We modeled it after David Platt, Church of Brookhills 2% challenge.
2% Challenge
David Platt’s 2% Challenge challenges each of us to commit 1 week every year to missions. One week each year is 2 percent of our time.
The Lord has blessed it mightily.
-
We just commissioned 9 people from our church to go to Ecuador for a week!! They leave Saturday!!!
-
We have 3 possibly 4 people signed up to go to Kenya in July.
-
We have 5 signed up to go to Clarkston Ga in June.
-
We have 2 going to Thailand in June.
-
One going to Nigeria in Aug.
There are only 38 adults in our congregation lol!
Please keep us in prayer as Jeff coordinates all this and as people raise their support.
